When you use Internet Explorer as an internet browser, the Internet Explorer cached and kept some file and information on the system as temp files for later use. Specially if your are viewing some private but your web browser will store all your information (visited websites) as a history and your co-workers, family members, Friends can trace your activates on the internet with clicking of toolbar history button or with simply press Ctrl+H.

If you think somebody may use your computer and you don't like they can trace your internet history, you should clear your temp file history to safe yourself.

•If your are using Internet Explorer (version 8) and wants to delete the history, first open your Internet Explorer.
•Click on Tools Menu then go to Internet Options. In General tab you will find the "Browsing History" section.
•click on "Delete" button. (by click you will see the following window which is the default setting for internet explorer) 
•Now click on the "Delete" button in the new window to clear all your recently visited sites, cookies, temporary internet files.
•The last action is click on "OK" button.

Now if you open your internet explorer and enter a letter you won't see any address that you have browsed already.
